CTK was born out of an encounter with God. Ivy Francis-Akolo
was just 18-years-old when she stepped into the calling of
children’s ministry that God placed on her life. As she met her
husband Francis, and had their two children, Olivia and Dara,
the children’s ministry grew into a family ministry, eventually
becoming a foundation. Over the years God has touched and
changed the lives of many people through events, workshops,
and initiatives started by CTK Ministries.

Partnering with parents and the church to lead and disciple a kingdom bound generation of young people to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength. We see a generation of kingdom bound young people who love the Lord with their hearts, soul and strength and parents who intentionally partner with Christ to lead them on a faith legacy path.

Dr. Ivy Francis-Akolo is a ministry leader, coach, and international speaker who equips churches and families to create inclusive spaces for children with special needs. She is the founder of Children of the Kingdom Ministries and the King’s Kids respite program, host of Parenting Today with Ivy, and serves as Director of Children’s Ministry at Oasis Fellowship in Alberta, Canada.

Mind the Gap is CTK’s monthly parents workshop designed to help parents navigate the changing world their children are growing up in. Each session explores relevant topics in parenting, culture, faith, relationships, technology, and family life—equipping parents with practical insight and biblical wisdom for raising the next generation.
Workshops take place monthly, either online via Zoom or in person in Grande Prairie, Alberta, depending on the session. Each gathering is an opportunity for parents to learn, ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other parents in a supportive community.
Join us each month as we bridge the gap between generations, culture, and faith.
